So, today was fantastic. We are out of school for a long weekend because of the fiestas. So we took a day trip. I've now seen my first real castle. We toured the Castillo de Manzanares El Real.  It was really neat, and I had alot of fun. All of the dorm girls, the Altemoses, the Humes, and the Mussers went. I think I took close to a hundred pictures, so these are only a few.

The castle sits on a hill looking out over a beautiful lake. After the castle, we took a picnic lunch out to a nearby national park, La Pedriza in the mountains. We ate and then went swimming in the river next to a water fall. It was beautiful, even though the water was a little cold
